svt intake on se

Hello. I'm have a 2000 Ford Contour SE. I was thinking about getting a new air intake, but most of the ones I've found online were for SVTs. Will they still work okay on my SE? I've seen a lot like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLUE...tegoryZ33710QQihZ015QQitemZ250120889893QQrdZ1

Do you think it would install and work okay?

Also, is it hard to install an intake? I'm not much of a car guy.

stay away from ebay junk, search here and go from that

and just so you know, by the looks of that straight pipe, it wont work for an svt anyways, only a regualr v6 contour

Oh, okay, thanks! Do you guys have an recomendations on good intakes, or will most work about the same? I really don't know that much about cars. My current intake is fine; I'm just looking for one that will sound/perform better than my stock one. I haven't done any other mods to it yet.

i'd go with the secret weapon intake, but only cause ive tried every other one, and i liek it the best

Wow, I didn't know they were that expensive. What kind of performance boost can you expect from installing something like that?

i felt a nice difference, i got the cold air box too, but pud is making another one kinda like it but better, check the group buys
