Sunroof keeps getting stuck w/ the new gear

anyone else have this problem where the sunroof will get stuck either all the way open or fully tilted up. I put in the new gear and it seems to get stuck at the extremes of each side. is there anyway to fix this?

btw each time it gets stuck i have to take it apart and just put it back on and it works...

I had this problem too. While I'm pretty sure it was just an installer error, I just made a note to not open it all the way. You really don't notice the extra inch when you slide it back and I only ever vented mine to try to keep the inside temp. down during the summer - .5 inch of the tilt never made a difference.

That is a good write up. It is definitely an alignment issue. I just figured it out through trial and error.
