Well, we think we fixed the Contour. All we did was replace the spark plugs and the engine runs, and there is no noise. I don’t understand how it helped but I did.

Pretty fly for a white guy *cowbell*
Very odd! I was doing a 3L for someone and he was working on the fuel rail and didn't bolt the EGR back on. Made the strangest noise I couldn't figure out. Car also shook like a motor mount was bad. Changed the plugs and it was good to go. Sometimes it ends up being small things.

Yep, I am kind of frustrated that it was so small, but at least it wasn't very expensive.

Good job, man... I'd have bet money on a rod bearing by everything you described. Thank God it was only plugs.
