I am trying to perform the alternator wiring fix for the voltage regulator. I am leary of pulling the alternator off (only way I see to do it as described), so I am tracing the line. I have found a large wiring harness direclty behind the air cleaner. It has ~40 wires it it. The harness continues from the plastic guide behind the engine to the main fuse box in the engine bay. I tested three of the orange wires in the harnes (16, 22, 34)by bridging them to the positive post of the battery. No difference in light flickering - except on 34 which stopped the car from starting.
Anyone have a copy of the wiring for this harness? My haynes doesn't show anything.
