turn signals help my car isnt street legal

ive read every thread about turn signals on this site

i have a e0svt

all the bulbs are good new sockets in back
the mfs switch is good tried a new one and a used one and the one thats still on it nothing works
changed the relay 3 different ones
the fuse also

ok this is what it does

headlights off
turn the signals on they work all 4 sides but..........
dim in the back

headlights on
you can only see the ones in the front because the running lights are on

and it clicks like the bulb is out

tried 3 different pairs of bulbs

oh and the hazzard lights work fine
click liket normal bright in the back and front

maybe the turn signal switch?

You really need to get out a DVOM and start measuring voltage at various places. I would be suspecious of the ground problem. Something common with the rear bulbs.

where is it grounded thank you for the info btw

You can check for ground at the bulb socket. Use the DVOM. Even a test light will do it. I don't know where the ground point is without a manual, but you could make your own ground if you needed to.
