Paint Question

I have a black 98 svt and my paint has has little cracks all through it from about half way up the side to the top. My trunk also has holes in it from a wing. I'm going to get my trunk repaired and I was wondering if anyone knows about how much it would cost to have this done. A friend said he could fix the holes and paint the trunk for $200. Is this a fair price? I was also wondering if anyone knew how much it would be to have the cracked sides repainted. Would I get a better price if I had both repairs done at the same time? Could I get the entire car repainted for $1000?

prices depend on the area you are in ... if you think $200 is fair for a trunk then its fair ... 1k for the whole thing, I don't think so, not if you want a quality paint job ... fyi my total exterior repaint was 4k ...
