Will the 3.0L exhaust manifolds fit on a 2.5L? Anyone ever try this?

Bolt up to your engine? Yes! But I am not sure if they bolt up to the y pipe correctly!?!?!?

I am wondering if the manifolds and y-pipe from a Duratech 3.0 Taurus will work on a Contour. I don't think the pre-cats are "attached" to the manifold, but I could be wrong. It has been awhile since I looked at a Taurus 24valve.

The pre-cats ARE attatched to the manifolds on the 3L

Which version of the 3L? You must learn to be more specific. Ford Taurus 3.0 manifold NO! Escape Manifolds YES. Bolt to the y-pipe, NO on both accounts.

on the 03 Taurus motor i got the front manifold is just a manifold and the back one was a manicat but the front one sticks out so far if you were to use it i think it would be either into the fans or make them melt
