I was just wondering if maybe sometime in the next month or so TN CEGer's could get together with the VA CEGer's? I don't know how far we are from each other but I thought it might be possible. I mentioned it to some fellow TN CEGer's last night at our meet and they agreed that it would be cool. I also mentioned that KY isn't too far away either. Well if anyone is interested just let me know!!!

I don't know much about distances or anything, so if someone knows a halfway spot between the KY, TN, and VA let me know.

From my house (Richmond metro) it's about 14 hours to Memphis. So um, someone in the 7 hour range is pushing it for me. I don't know if I would attend.

Roanoke, VA is about 4 hours from Knoxville. Anybody on here from that area? I am originally from Northern Va (Woodbridge), just below DC.

Roanoke sounds like a good spot, or VA beach? How about early August? Anybody want to add ideas, please feel free.

How does August 2,3,or 4 sound. There is a car show in norfolk that weekend. I can probably get a good deal on hotel rooms if anyone wants to stay for the whole weekend.

Not a far drive for TN folk who could stay the whole weekend, especially seeing as how VA beach isn't too far from Norfolk. I'd have to check into places to stay unless somebody close to there can check. What about any MD folk? NC folk?

Ok heres the deal. The hotel is not in Norfolk but in Va Beach. It is the Clarion Hotel near Mt Trashmore. As for prices i have yet to talk to my father until i find out about how many people.
