Here it is everyone. We have put a lot of effort and thought into all the events. It's going to be a BLAST for everyone. For those of you not making it to Spring Zing, here is your chance to participate in the gathering in Dallas, Texas!!!

w00t!! Now if I could get my wife to make up her mind if she wants to go or not
Help me with ideas to convince her. She already thinks she'd like to live in Dallas and I'm using the "you can see if you really like it there" argument.

We do have some alternative options for non car people. Plus if you stay @ the hotel you will be really close to an awesome mall. Tell her you will take her there and buy her something from Tiffany's There is plenty to do here. So please encourage her to come. You can have her PM me if you want.

I think my wife and kids are coming down after the meet.
My mother lives in Ft. Worth, so I'm planning to get the tribe down on Sunday or Monday for a few days. Probably fly them down as wifey wouldn't dream of a 750 mile drive, with just the kids.

I'm fast becoming a thorn in your side, Chris
I have another question regarding registration. What is the cutoff date? I ask because I'm still uncertain about my wife's ability to make the trip. She has her resume out to a couple companies right now that seem interested and I don't want to register her and then have her not be able to make it, thus wasting my $35.

The cut off date is two weeks before the event, Friday June 14th, 2002. Of course we would like everyone to register sooner rather than later (its just easier) but you still have plenty of time. BTW- I found a little something you could possibly bribe your wife with in case of emergency a day spa or maybe just a massage or something. The spa is very close to all activities and across the street from the mall I mentioned earlier. Wish you wife good luck on the job search for us.

Thanks Mushu
The bribing is pretty much in the bag. If she hasn't landed a job, she'll most likely be going. Not bad considering I just mentioned this to her last week
Thanks for the info. I'd register today if I had a definite answer on her job situation, but I gotta hold out a little while.

I think there might be someone from Canada coming?? If not, 1150 miles is a long way. Surely in the running.

Well, putting the check in the mail today.
Just wondering if you have the location/phone number for the specific La Quinta we're going to be staying at? I don't register over the internet and I've had nothing but bad luck with nationwide hotel registering...
Thank you!

So sorry for the delay. I could not find the info I had. It was hanging out in Chris's trunk. The local # is 214-361-8200. PM me if you have any problems or need anything.

Anyone want to split a double room. I'll be staying there Thursday night thru Sunday night.
Also, What is the address of the La Quinta. I typed in Dallas and there are like 10 of them. Maybe I missed it in another post.
Thanks.

10001 North Central Expressway Dallas, Texas 75231 214-361-8200 BE sure to say you are with the CEG (Contour Enthusiast National Meet) Very Important!!!!!!
FYI- This is a really nice La Quinta. Its a La Quinta Inns & Suites instead of the regular La Quintas. I thinks thats why there is no Denny's there. The manager gave us a "tour" (get it... bad pun) the rooms are really nice & it has a really cool pool. Be sure and bring swimsiuts!

So if I bring my friend, my gf, and his fiancee do they all have to register as well? I know my friend wants to go but I doubt the girls we'll be hanging around for everything. I figure my buddy WILL need to register but not sure about the girls.
And what is the registration fee paying for exactly? I assume various costs incurred for planning something like this but I'm still curious.
Thanks
