Good point thats why they should make some kinda reinforcment at the bottom of the front bumper.Or make some kind of shield to protect it from scratches{NJ is a big pot hole} [Mad]

good questions SVT ST PETE. this front fascia and rear valence will be nowhere near as low as something like the mirko front spoiler however it may be a tiny bit lower than the SVT kit. clearance is a main concern i've discussed with them so please believe that it will be taken care of.

XTREMECONTOUR, if you want just one part like the sideskirts or front fascia, it is on you to find other people to buy the other parts of the entire kit and come to me with the full payment. shipping info will come soon.

Final prices will be updated sometime this week and I will contact everyone individually to discuss more details as soon as I have them. Had to get back to Carisma last week with a request for more kits and haven't been able to follow up yet. I'll talk with them today hopefully. thanks.

Do you have any type of estimated release on these kits or is it all up in the air? DO the kits get shipped to one person and then we need to get ship them to the other members (for those not buying full kit)? or can they be shipped from carisma to the respective party's individually?

Also what is the estimated cost of the rear bumper within a kit? I.e. how much of the cost of the whole kit is made up by the rear bumper?

Thx

blaze, you need to decide now if you want to be in on this kit. pre-orders have already been taken but if you really want one I may still be able to squeeze you in.

spectra, I am still waiting on the details as far as shipping and things of that nature. Like I said yesterday, I will have that information this week. I am not at liberty to discuss what part costs more so if you want just one piece, it's up to you to see if anybody else wants the other pieces and then you guys decide whats a fair price.

ok, talked with Carisma today and once again I gave them an updated number of people on the group buy. Remember that the more people that go in, the less it will cost for you. Pre-orders are now final and I am due to call Carisma back on Friday. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks, Terry. This leads to a 2nd question regarding clearance.

Am I correct in assuming that since the front and rears are slightly lower than the stock SVT, that the side-skirts will also be lower?

This kind of worries me since with my GC + Koni setup I have already scraped the front and sides.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

This gb sounds like its dying out just like the rest... I was hoping to have my kit at least by the national meet which is in like two months... Update us hella even if there is no new news at least to let us know this is still going to happen... [Frown]

Xtreme, I had nice long rant dedicated just to you but I chose to delete it. Please understand that I've received countless e-mails from people wanting a kit after the deadline and this has pushed things back. Because the more kits we have equals a cheaper price for everyone, I've decided to let more people in. Hooking up fellow CEG'rs is what this is all about. If you can't deal with that than so be it.

Carisma is extremely busy and it usually takes me 3-4 long distance phone calls to reach my contact there. I am a very busy guy too, ask anyone on this site who knows me and they'll vouch for me. I will call again today like I do everyday and hopefully I will have some more news. So for now, sit down and shut the hell up because I'm getting tired of the bullsh*t you continue to waste my time with. keep it up and u will not be getting a kit.

Hella- there is absolutely no need for any kind of sh*t talking.. I in no way spoke to you in that mannar and do not expect it back.. I was just giving a simple concern about the kit just to see if we could get an update. I was in no way talking down to you or questioning you I was just asking for some kind of update or short line telling us the status on this kit.. There is no reason for you to get upset.. As you know I am one of the first people that was interested in the kit and have been waiting patiently ,I in no way meant to affend you. No explicit language was needed.. My apologies if I in any way offended you and concerning you letting other CEG'ers in I totally understand. But the only thing i kindly ask is that you keep us informed..

nah man, u crossed the line and it's not appreciated. you haven't kindly asked a damn thing. instead, you've gone out of your way to doubt the work I've put in on this. I've posted updates just about every week, even if I've heard nothing. you're acting like i haven't posted in months.

As much as I favor the happiness of my fellow ceg'ers, I think we should just set a final dead line on joining the group buy reguardless. I think we have all grown quite restless and everyone needs to takea freakin chill pill. At any rate we all hope to see progression soon and the only thing to do is just relax and let it happen. Hella isnt going to work harder just cause you get on his case and make him loose his cool. Sure I love to see Terry leave a post explaining what is happening but its not entirely up to him when something happens. Kepp it rollin and for everybody who is getting restless ..yeah we all are and so is terry so cope so we can progression with the buy instead of regression

I agree with Contourconcepts, I am just as anxious to get my kit. I can't wait! I've been in for this kit since it was a copy of the Saleen. Now, it's a Taurus Rage, how's that for progression?

BTW-Would anyone make a set of mesh grills for the new kit? I tried to do the front oval and f'ed it up, so I have to order a whole new assembly. [Mad] I'll pay cash money to anyone that does good work!
