I had just bought a 1995 GL with low miles. It is a good car for a reasonable price, but there are a few electrical problems that I had tried to figure out, but couldn't:confused: . Does anyone have any advice? I'm killing myself here!

so here is the diagnosis:

- heater panel illumination lights are out
- automatic gear selector light is out
- electric mirrors don't work
- defrost doesnt work

I have checked all fuses, bulbs, even any obvious physical damage to wiring- but they all are fine. only thing weird is that the footwell lights stay on when car is running with lights on ( I am thinking this may have been intended by previous owner)

I wanted to figure it out, but if I can;t anybody have any ideas on how much it would cost to fix?

Thanks for all advice in advance guys, - your my last hope!

Welcome :) . If you haven't, try changing the fuses first ($5 investment) and test the relays. In addition, download an Owners' Manual free. www.fleet.ford.com
