ok guys,
this is the official SFC group buy now.

time to start sending those deposits in. you can send either the minimum NON REFUNDABLE $25 deposit OR the whole thing, or somewhere in between lol. once the SFCs are done and ready to ship out the balance will be due. you will have 30 days to send in your balance or you will forfeit your deposit and your SFCs will be sold to someone else.

the cost for these is the same as before. $150 shipped to your door (48 states). PM me for shipping quotes to anywhere else. yes, i will ship these international as well.

if you want the ends boxed up (end caps welded on) it will be $25 more.

you can send your payments through paypal or by check/MO. if by paypal, please add 3% to cover the fees. if you send it by paypal via echeck, then there are no fees. it takes a week to clear, but thats no problem.

98csvtRob, first, i need info from you, but, besides that, how were you able to send an instant payment without incurring the 3% fee? please share, it can help everyone save a few bucks.
 
I'm betting he clicked on the services option instead of goods. Then paypal calculates the free for you if you want it to and bills you directly instead of the recipient.

For example. I just recently sent $15 to someone and checked the services option. It calculated the fee and billed me something like $15.40 automatically.

So it isn't free at all, just easier and it shows up for the recipient as an exact amount.

I'll pm you my phone number and I do not want endcaps. As for the paypal, when you go to send a payment, click on the personal section, then the sender receives the fees.
 
PP'd deposit but have NO CLUE as to if I need "ENDCAPS" or not...

Q... I have a 2000 CSVT, all stock/oem. Getting ready to overhaul/replace the entire F&R suspension (Front; bat kit, LCA assemblies, all the tie rod ends FSB bushings/Rear; repacing the SVT OEM RSB with a BAT 21mm & poly bushings etc...).
Could you veteran CEG'ers please help & tell me if I should order closed or open; endlinks because I have no clue if I should order them w/ or w/out endcaps? Car will be a DD half time & maybe an autocross or 2 this summer, (if that helps any)?

Your all's/GB-OP advise would greatly be appreciated!
 
I'm getting endcaps for a few reasons. It is stronger although probably not that much more but every little bit helps and its not like its very much more. My biggest reason to get them boxed is to keep the ends from filling up with all sorts of crud and road grime and corroding. These aren't something you can just go out and buy so I want mine to last as long as the car.

Def makes sence since I live in the midwest where it snows, salt & potholes. So I ordered mine with endcaps. Thanks!

as far as the end caps go. johntheSHO guy, a senior engineer, says the SFCs will probably outlast your car. the metal is very thick. it would take a long time to eat through it. a simple spray paint coating should be good enough. they certainly wont make them any stronger. i cant imagine what it would take to bend one of these things.

but as far as crud goes, if that is a real concern than i guess it makes sense. ive never noticed anything in there. mine are open. which also makes it extremely useful if you plan to run stereo power wire or relocate your battery.
 
Eh, I still want mine boxed. I'm running all my power wires inside the car anyway. I've had a 4 ga. cable running under the carpet of my Cobra for years and I never notice it. I'd be the one person who'd spray paint them, miss a spot or have the paint flake and 3 years later I'd have a nice fat rust bubble lol.
