head light delay

ok so when i turn on my head light swtich my lowbeams some times don't turn on or they take up 2 5 min to come on. what could the problem be with this. the fog lights come on every time and the dash lights come one everytime just the low beams do this.. what is the deal. could this be the relay or bad wireing or something else i need help drives me crazy waiting for my lights to come on!!!!

You're on the right track. Check the relays, fuses and wiring (especially the gounds).
