Oil Pan Gasket

It looks like I just need to remove the Y-pipe to drop the pan, is that right?


Car is a 98 2.5L Mystique.

That's basically it. Easier said than done though. A few of the bolts are kind of annoying iirc. And your arms might get a little tired. Good luck!
 
the two bolts on the passenger side of the oil pan where it goes over the subframe, you'll need a wrench but other than that I don't recall any others being hard to reach or anything.
 
Sorry to dig up an old thread but I'm thinking of tackling this job.

If I get the Y pipe out, the pan can squeeze out? Service manual says the engine has to be lifted slightly for the pan to clear the cross member. I haven't taken a good look myself yet.
