Thought I'd post this for the curious. It's the best visual reference I've seen for Ford injectors. It is not Contour focused, but includes the 17# beige, 19# orange and green as well as others.

Aahh very nice. Do you know how old this goes back. My buddy has an '84 Mustang SVO with a guy that did some work before, and he was wondering about the injectors in his too.

I don't...I can tell that it covers the mid-early 90s. I think the T-bird injectors will be the oldest.
 
So the explorer injectors would work for the SVT...interesting. New place to look for injectors in the junkyard.

I assume they wouldn't be any different though. :shrug:
 
Based off the pics.. I'm also wondering if the 24# Cobra injector would work without plug adapters (direct replacement).
