Do these bolt right in and are they the same as an SVT Transmission? I know the svt focus's use a getrag 6-speed which isn't compatible but are the 5-speed focus ones? Are all 5-speeds focus ones or just certain models? Any information is helpful since I'm looking for used transmissions and focus transmissions are way more available than contour transmissions.
 
Bellhousing pattern is different. Won't bolt in. I don't know the details of the internals, but you may be able to swap the internals into a contour MTX-75 case.
 
Focus 5 speed in a CSVT? The gear ratios are different. You can look for a MTX-75 out of a V6 Contour non SVT or a V6 Cougar '99+ style.
 
that sucks, it would have been toooooo easy. Shops on ebay have focus 5-speed trans with 2,000 miles on them for 349 dollars
