I'm still curious as well... I have a used stock cougar lim & a BRAND NEW one as well... and possibly purchasing an svt lim soon... and picking up a 3L Contour on the 12th-13th

Considering this GB & the uim EH for the extra HP with some spray!

I may be selling my ST220 intake and before I do that I'd like to know if this can happen at the 10 rate.

Cool

I know Mike has been working on the LIM's. The screws are real stubborn. Also they had a race as well. Ill see if he can update.

Those screws are def a pain.

Best to shave the rear crimped ends, then flatten out the screw...so you can use a long flat head screw driver. Thats what i have done on the last 4 lims i have optimized.

Hope that helps!

After loosening the carbon buildup with some PB Blaster, I used dentist pics to clean out the slots in the screw and they came right out with a philips head.

I did that two..dentist picks 6.95 at wallgreens ...but a couple just wouldn't budge...and eventually stripped on me. So i had no choice but to cut a slot into the screw to put a flat head in.

As Matt said, I was finally able to get the prototype LIMs disassembled. I figured out the trick to the screws about the same time the suggestions came through. I used a little carb cleaner to clean out the screw heads and then tried at least 10 different types/brands of screwdrivers and bits until I found the best fit.

The machinist has the housings right now and will get me a revised cost to see if we can offer a price break for >10. I will let the group know as soon as I hear anything.

Thanks

Mike
