lights flicker at all speeds! help

ok as title says my headlights tail lights dash lights, all my lights exept radio, flicker when they are on. also my low beams some times take a minute to turn on some times they take 5 min to turn on. fog lights come on right away every time high beams work great still.. but no matter what the lights are like a strobe light drives me crazy!!!!!!!!what can i do or look at to fix this crap.. the battery is 3 months old, alternator under a year auto zone brand..

is the alternator new? if it is was this happening before you put the new alternator in? I ask since I tried a new Autolite alternator and above 3k rom it made all of my lights flicker, I returned it as defective ...

yes it was also doing this before the new one. i will take it to auto zone and have it tested this weekend. any other thoughts.?
