Default Totally different gauge cluster in a 96 - WTF?!?

Check out this '96 on ebay...

I've never seen any contour with a gauge cluster like that. He's listing it at 150k so I doubt he's trying to scam anyone. It must be the Contour's cluster. It also looks like it has some kind of metallic trim.

    Funky.

Oops, he/she must of put a picture up of a different gauge cluster. Unless they did some serious work to the dash, theres no way thats in the contour.

They do sell metallic gauge bezels for it, that would be the reason for the silver, but other than that its different. Maybe its some kind of overlay. My friend made his one overlay on his comp and printed it off. Who knows

Nevermind, its totally diff, but that is the steering column for a contour.

It looks like it but it isn't. The emergency flasher button on that car is square, our Contours has a round button.

It's not even a 96 tour unless he liked the silver oval instead of the color matched ones.

Look at the front and rear bumpers. They have chrome strips across them. IIRC, the '95 had chrome and the '96 had the same color as the rest of the car.

Ah, the trim strip. Doesn't really strike me as being "oval" so that's why I was confused.
