Se Duratec vs Svt Duratec heads

They start off the same. The SVT heads get SVT cams. The secondary intake ports on the 98 (both E0 and E1) SVT are extrude honed. The 99 and newer SVT has both of the intake ports extrude honed. That's all there is.

The slightly higher compression ratio is from different pistons.
 
Note:

The SVT PCM tune has something to do with the added power of the SVT as well. That tune requires that the SVT run on premium gasoline. The CAMs will CERTAINLY provide a nice boost of added power, & you'll notice it mostly at the top of the rev range, but you will still fall a few HP shy of SVT power levels.

If you're competent enough to perform a cam swap, you might consider saving up & getting greasey up to your elbows by doing a 3L swap. Normally aspirated with your SVT cams, and you've got a real winner there.
