Angry That's it! I'm moving some where without snow!

So I thought I could make it down the hill to work this morning in the light snow. I could not. Started to slide left at the top of the hill, cut the wheel right, kept sliding. Went straight into a curb. Cracked rim, possibly ruined tire, and bent LCA on the driver's side.

If anyone has an 8 spoke SE wheel or a new LCA lying around and willing to sell, it would be a great help. Or if you can recall seeing an 8spoke SE wheel at a junkyard, that would help too! Thanks guys!

Well the curb scraped the bottom of the SVT bumper(stock suspension), which was is already scraped and cracked to hell anyway so no big deal. I don't even remember what I was doing. I was either in 2nd or neutral, slowly braking. I prob did start braking heavier because I got scared of going further down the hill and hitting cars.

    that sucks.
gotta try and remember to release the brakes and let the car roll up the curb.
might have saved you some damage.

but hell, its alot easier to talk about the right thing to do then it is to do it in a panic state!

Sorry to hear that. My car is all messed up from winter driving too, but I only hit a pothole. I'm thinking Arizona might be nice.

Cali or FL for me. Semi serious too, I started looking at job openings. Cali has a ton for computer engineers as opposed to the very little in CT. Weird.

I dunno...is the two bolt arm the early one that is stupid expensive or the later one that is like 50 bucks? I need the later one which I actually already ordered, but I appreciate your generosity!
