Angry San Jose Bay Area Shop for CSVT work?

I'VE HAD IT WITH FRONTIER FORD! Can anyone recommend a shop fo rme? I need regular maintenance (oil, filter, fluids, inspection) and new front brakes. I also want a new set of tires if anyone knows of a good deal. Thanks in advance.

How do they ride? I want a good price, but I will not sacrifice performance! Thanks for the quick reply.

For brakes I would buy your own parts then take it to an installer. OR....... I've heard some great things about some of the Craigslist mechanics that come to your place and repair your car for you. I'm getting ready to do my front brakes again and am ordering all my parts from Stazi. Rotors are paper thin after 80K miles.

Check references if you go that route.

For tires: www.discounttiredirect.com or www.tirerack.com Ordered from both and have only positive things to say. No road hazard warranty per-se or free tire rotations but you will pay a lot less. discount tire direct is an affiliate of Americas Tire so they can do the mount/balance. TireRack also has recommended installers.

If you are unwilling to mail-order tires, then Costco, Sears or Americas Tire would be my top picks. No Les Schwabs in the Bay Area or I would advise them as well.
