Car shows? Whos in?

How u guys doing tonight? well as many may know im new the board but i have been watching u guys conversations for about a year now. i do alot of car shows thorugh out the year but i never have seen another contour out thier. i k now thier is but i thought it would be great if we all can meet up at couple show as a big car group. i know of a couple that is in the surroundiong areas that would be great. thier is......

Nopi- 2 times this year again a MIR
Battle of the imports- yes i already know we are not imports but we are sport compacts!
Import vs. Domestic- Nov. some time this year and its huge.
O.C. car show- BEER, BEACH,WAVES,AND BABES...what more do ya need other then your TOUR!

those are just a few off top my head that i will be attending...i have looked around for something in Va beach but cant find anything. i do wanna go thier. but i just thought it would be great if everyone can get together at an environment like that and blow those civics and ricer out the f**kin water.
but just say if a good idea or what because im down!

Yeah sounds good...depends on the date though.

You definitely get noticed when you roll in a big group. Last summer we had our big Mid Atlantic MN12 meet (tri-state Thunderbird/Cougar/Mark 8) club. We rolled through Martinsburg with a police escort...I believe it was 26 or 27 cars deep.

well i looked...it doesnt matter to me if u guys have nothing really to show...neither do i. but i really just like doing these. thier fun and its what field im in...i can introduce you guys to some big names in the customs field. also so of the frickin high schoolers that just got a car from mommy need to learn some respect for the contours. just cause we have no beer cans for an exhaust that the TOURS ARE JUST TOURS. but here are the dates:
1st NOPI at MIR- May 19th,20th
O.C. car show- June 9-10
Kumho Street warriorz- June 15th at MIR
2nd NOPI- Aug 25,26th

thier are many more in between those dates but these are just a few that are pretty big. im getting ready to start customs school so i can get certified as a customs installer March 19th. so i get done may10 and going to ready to jump in it hard. if anyone wants to get into this and doesnt have a huge experince in customs try this place

i have been doing it for about 4 years and this is my 3rd show car so im planing on very huge. u guys will be seeing me with a phat one but i wanna help others also. so just let me know fellas

You gotta watch some of those "high school kids". I'm friends with a handful of guys with stock looking hatches that run faster than 12.9, some as fast as high 10's. Not all of them are ricers.

yes true i do know that...but how many high schoolers have money like that. they dont work a full time job that is goiong to give them money for 10's!?!?! im sure thier may be a few out their but the practicality of that is slim to none. i do know that thier is rides out thier faster and yes not all ricers but most cocky F**ks are ricer of what ive seen. i been in the scene for a min. now and thats what i see....im better then u. and im not saying im better or anyone here is better then the other....im saying lets go and support FORD...and and especialy the TOURS because we are n ot in this scene that often or even reconized as a sport compact.
i went to a show last year and the frickn judge never even knew they made a svt tour. or what it even looked like. and at nopi they put me in the mid size luxery class up with lexus, infinity, and bmw etc. now in my opinion thats not to fair. so i would read a little more on what i say a little before jumping out thier....no offense.

None taken. That's why I put "high school kids" in quotes...to say that those "kids" that look like "high school kids" may not be kids at all. You don't have to explain about not being noticed at shows and such. Thunderbirds are basically Ford's 'red headed stepchild'. Try modding a two-ton land yacht...
