Thread: Shifter Cable Bushings

    Default Shifter Cable Bushings

I just finished my 3.0L install recently, when i started driving the car I noticed that when I was shifting it wasn't engaging the gears like it should be. So i pulled the driver's side wheel off and noticed that the little rubber bushing at the end of the shift cable that fits over the shifting tower pins is real worn out. I was wondering if there is a replacement part that you can buy or am I gonna have to purchase completely new cables? Any suggestions?

Yes, if you have an early 98 you can get the cable ends. If it's 98.5+ you'll have to get the full cable system.
