    Default rear strut mounts?

Are these a chronically bad part of the contour? I have my car at a shop today and he says a rear strut is leaking. He says he recommends replacing the mounts at the same time. I searched, didn't find any feedback.

I hear no clunking or noises, should I bother???

I too have this question. Mine are clunking badly after the D2s went in and they were replaced with my previous suspension setup. What's a good aftermarket brand to go with? Gabriel? KYB? MOOG?

I have some clunking too in the rear on my d2's. I know my front mounts are in real ****ty condition [didnt have those parts in hand when I did the swap]. I should have the parts in the next week, so I'll tell you if replacing them was the solution.
