Thread: problem with master

    Thumbs down problem with master

    this will be the second time in 4 months that i will be replacing the clutch master cyl. i dont understand why it keeps going out! the first time it was a slow gradual loss of pressure, and now it just lost everything. does anyone have any suggestions?

    What is the fluid level? If it is low, check these three items for leaks.
    Master cylinder. Slave cylinder. Hydraulic tubes.

    nope, its completely full, thats the first thing i checked...

    Is it a Ford CMC? Ive had problems with auto parts store BMC/CMC in the past. I say spring for the Ford one.
