as you can see from my pic , cut out the centre bar of my st24 , fitted two belmouths, one each to either intake of the svt [st200] airbox , joined with 2 plastic flexi hoses and sealed up as best I could
so put to the test tonight to find out whether is good cold air or ram air
brought home my digi manometer from work , and ran a feed pipe of the alloy connection pipe I have between the maf and the tb , into the car and manometer set on top of the dash, gave the throttle a couple of good revs, and -7mb readings confirmed things were working
so out for a drive 1mb at 40 , increasing to 17mb at 90mph
finally had a chance to do a wot run in 4th gear and recorded 20mb at 120mph
is not a lot but any positive pressure has to be worth a little hp

Hmm well the readings would be more interesting if you had a before and after to show that there was in fact a gain.

good point but my guess is on wot in will be less than atmospheric pressure
should put a cover over the grill, take some readings , and then remove the cover and take some more extensive reading, try and do it soon , but just happy at the moment my setup has a little ram air
