Hello guys, i recently did a scan on my 99 Contour SE V6 and below are the codes i got.

I need your advice/assistance to know where to start handling the issues from.

Diagnosis by OBDScope.
www.obdscope.com

Date: 01.07.2014 15:16.
Vehicle id: N/A
MIL: On.
Inspection status: Failed. MIL is on.
Fuel system status: Closed loop, using oxygen sensor feedback to determine fuel mix.
Secondary air status: N/A.
OBD Port Voltage: 14.70V

OBD tests: 4/8 completed:
Misfire: OK
Fuel system: OK
Components: OK
Catalyst: Incomplete
Evaporative system: Incomplete
Oxygen sensor: Incomplete
Oxygen sensor heater: Incomplete
EGR system: OK

Lambda Tests:
Short Term Fuel Trim B1: Varies between 2.3436% - 9.3744%
O2 Sensor B1S1: Varies between 0.1150V - 0.8000V
O2 Sensor B1S2: No variation, 1.2750V
O2 Sensor B2S1: Varies between 0.0900V - 0.8400V
O2 Sensor B2S2: Varies between 0.5450V - 0.7650V

DTCs:

P0743(current): Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical

P0500(current): Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction

P0401(current): Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected

P1131(current): (No description)

P1151(current): (No description)

P0174(current): System too Lean (Bank 2)

P0136(pending): O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

P1132(pending): (No description).

Freeze Frame:
DTC: P0174
Calculated Load: 39%
Engine Coolant Temperature: 69?C
Short Term Fuel Trim B1: -3%
Long Term Fuel Trim B1: 7%
Short Term Fuel Trim B2: 29%
Long Term Fuel Trim B2: 25%
Engine RPM: 7431/min
Vehicle Speed: 0km/h

Also, my radiator dires up very quickly and i fill it up everyday.

The mechanics around me are not very competent and they only do things on trial and error.

Your response/advice/recommendations would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.

P1131 - Lack of upstream heated O2 sensor switching, sensor indicates lean, Bank 1
P1151 - Lack of upstream heated O2 sensor switching, sensor indicates lean, Bank 2
P1132 - Lack of upstream heated O2 sensor switching, sensor indicates rich, Bank 1

those (and the P0174) could be from bad O2 sensors or a vacuum leak. depending on the mileage on the vehicle and if the O2 sensors have ever been replaced its probably worth just going ahead and replacing them both upstream sensors and the bank 1 downstream sensor.

the P0401 EGR code is likely either from plugged EGR ports in the intake manifold (very common) or a bad DPFE sensor or hose leading to the sensor (also very common).

Really do appreciate your response. Will get the sensors replaced this weekend all thing being equal.

May i know what it could cost to replace these sensor please. An estimate would be okay.

Thanks again.

The sensors themselves are about $50 each from Advance Auto (Autozone or O'reillys will be similar). then the labor to install them if you arent doing it yourself which will depend on your location and what shop rates are around you.
