    Unhappy Why does this thing STILL refuse to start?

    Rewired engine w/ new harness. Check.
    New spark plugs. Check.
    New plug wires. Check.
    Fuel pump primes. Check.
    Coil pack tested and good. Check.
    Plugs do indeed spark. Check.
    Injectors tested and firing. Check.
    All fuses good. Check.

    Does anyone have ANY suggestions? For the life of me I can't figure out why this thing still won't start. I've checked all my harness plugs and connections. They're good and solid. It won't start with starting fluid sprayed in it either.

    ARRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!

    will it crank?

    try looking at the TPS sensor...(Throtle positioning sensor)
    or the crank shaft sensor

    * someone help me out on these names...i had these changed a while ago in my car and i cant for the life of me remember the names *

    It cranks fine. Cranks all day. That's just all it does.

    Your best bet would be to bring it to a mechnics shop and have them find out the problem and fix it yourself. Other than that I'm not sure. Have you checked the battery connections (not saying you didn't)? Cleaned the MAF and IAT?

    The only thing I can think of is a bad starter or bad PCM. I hope you figure this out before the rally.

    **UGH** Blown head gasket at a minimum. Removed the plugs for a compression test. Cyls 1 & 4 made about 90 lbs. while 2 & 3 topped out at about 40. In addition, there was a lovely fountain of coolant from 2 & 3 as the engine cranked. Figures.
