Honestly, they've been sitting since I got them back from Sho-Shop,

On the LIM, primaries are about 33MM, Secondaries are about 38MM.
The UIM needs more work, the LIM just needs to be polished.
UIM needs some casting marks removed, and I'd like to gasket-match the upper and lower together.

I know it's a picture of just one side, but wutevs.
I am going to bore the Secondaries out to 38mm (hopefully), and probably just clean up the primary port.
It will take me forever due to my job, but i'll happen eventually.

Apologies if all this seems very standard and ho-hum, I'm excited

Very nice, should be awesome when its done.
Oh, and is that a maxhoned upper that you are then massaging some more?

The ShoShop UIM I had really wasn't bigger inside. Maybe a little smoother, but not opened up.....

Yeah, i wasnt exactly thrilled, its cleaner for sure, but improvements can be had.
I wil be going very very slowly on the uim.
Usually use a stone, but in this case sandpaper rolls all the way.
I need to get the upper and lower to match, the secondary port on the uim is like, just barely 37mm

And if you look at the path right after the throttle body, there is no knife-edge.
That needs to cut and split the air, all the definition was removed when it way max-honed.

so what tools did you use for this work? end results are nice!

Oh man, air powered tools for a lot of it
But i use a benchtop drill press for polishing. Gotta get the heat into the metal sometimes.
i use sandpaper rolls for most of the porting work.
slower going than a stone for sure, but much less danger to punch through.

I throw up some pictures of my setup this week.
