Default Anyone know or able to trace this wire for me?

So my drivers side High Beam Light is out, i figured since the Passengers works 100% that it's probably a bad wire somewhere. Problem is the wiring is all bundled up into a giant ball of tape. I could swear someone used 25+ rolls of electrical tape. I started unwining all the wires, but after 45 minutes and not even getting 6 inches down the cluster **** I decided to jump on here really quick to ask if someone else knew where that was going so I could run a new power line.

Note: this is a SVT 99 Contour with Bagged 3L portmatched, it also has HID low beams.

did you check the fuse for the drivers side bulb? they have separate fuses for the driver and passenger side bulbs.

Well no i Didnt check the drivers side fuse. Have to look up the diagram for the fuse box. Although would the low beam and high beam be on the same fuse for drivers side, because the low beams work great.

Okay check the fuse, good, double checked the new bulb, good. No power to the fuse box under the hood for that fuse.

Anyone know if the power runs from battery to fuse to switch to light?
Or if it runs from power to switch to fuse to light?
Id assume the first, since it's literally right there and seems like it'd protect more that way if the switch shorts out.

    Any suggestions still greatly appreciated.

Upon ripping some things out of the way, it is indeed battery fuse switch light. Now time to see if I cant dismantle the fuse box....
