coolant tank

I just picked up a coolant tank & the new 1 has a nipple or place for a hose by the cap. My other doesnt have 1. Is that an overflo or do i cap it off.

run a hose, doesnt have to go all the way to the bottom of the bay, you just dont want it spraying out

mine hose is about 5 inches and it just bends down. too bad a normal hose will want to stay horizontal

well ya il add a hose , i just dont want it to spray everywhere, i just fixed that problem. i just wasnt sure if i should just cap it cuz my other tank didnt have a overflow so i didnt know if that would effect the pressure or anything.
