Hi all, I'm a fairly new Svt owner, Previously I owned a little brother to the Contour, the Escort, which taught me not only to be resourceful, but also to network with other people in my area.

Looking over this part of the forum, I havent really seen much communication between members in my area....

So lets see if we can get something going. I've seen that Kensington Metro Park was a previous meeting area a few years ago. Post below where you're located, and if you're interested in meeting in the SE area of Michigan, and if you dont vibe well with Kensington, alternate locations can be considered.

There is no date set, we could all even meet at one of the cruises in our area later in summer. Whenever those end up happening.

Also, if anybody needs any parts, I make fairly frequent trips to parts yards and Have gotten quite good at tracking down other parts. Please feel free to post whatever parts you need or are looking to sell, or if you have a certain expertise at a given part of the vehicle, and with any luck, we'll get a little pool of resources for those new guys going on here.

I live about 5 minutes from Kensington. I would have no problems meeting a people there

Awesome 2 people in less than 24 hrs, lets see how many more people are up to meet and we'll start forming some plans here.


Remember to post if you have any expertise in a certain part of the vehicle, I would like to set up a meet, but lets also get a knowledge pool going too.

This is great! More guests are welcome of course, its looking like Kensington is the common meeting spot. I'm just throwing ideas out there now, but I know Kensington has a bunch of places to grill...
Would everyone be up for a little grill and chill? Bring a dish to pass, we'll check out everyones cars, and see if we can map out a little route to cruise on the back roads?

I havent organized a contour meet before, so if anyone else has any ideas/suggestions to add, please feel free.

Detailed, Andrewscontour99, if you all are that close to Kensington, do you have any input with good routes to cruise, preferably with windy twisty bits, and not frequently patrolled by the fuzz?

Also I know that everyone works on their own schedule, but we're going to try to make this work for the most amount of people that we can.
This weekend 5/5 or 5/6 is there anyone that is unable to meet?
