Default new to csvt 00 silver csvt

just bought a 00 csvt silver 110400 miles had a bad ball joint, cel was on a cts (bad wire) I paid 2750 for it it has typical surface rust nothing too bad dings on driverside and the interior is in great shape. The car is a blast to drive but what are good Bolton upgrades to do first. *No classified type ads in the NMC*.

*You can post your wanted to buy in your regional forum or check the main classified forum to see if anyone is selling what you need. You cannot post in the main classified forum yet so you will need to use the PM feature to contact the seller.

An NGP intake, aftermarket Y-pipe, and catback are good places to start, just like with any car. You won't see much gain from bolt ons though. You'll need to go forced induction or swap the 2.5 for a 3L for noticeable gains in power.

    Welcome.
IDK, I would first start with a good UIM/LIM cleaning, change the plugs and wires, check the condition of the belts, change the trans fluid, etc. before doing upgrades. That's just my thinking though.

Best thing to do, read over the stickies in the Duratec Maintenance, Duratec Performance and Motor and Maintenance How-To forums. These forums should give you a good idea of things that you can do and some that you should do.

What she said. First "mod" you should do is modify your ypipe or get an aftermarket one. One of the largest restrictions on these cars. Then work on the exhaust from that back.
