    Default Main vacuum line disconnect help

    I need to remove my upper intake plenum. How do you remove the vacuum lines for the brake booster and the main vacuum source for the engine? Those 2 plastic lines that connect to the upper intake plenum.

    It says to depress the black retainer to disconnect. I just don't want to break them.

    Can anyone help?

    you press the vacuum line into the UIM. then with a pick ora flat blade screw driver hold down the plastic collar and pull the vacuum line up.
