When will CEG die?

I just purchased a new 2009 Focus S and I was looking at the Focus forums (focusfanatics).

I don't know if I did not find the right forum for the Focus but the ones I saw are not 10 % as good like CEG.

CEG is in a special class.

I think the site will last for quite some time. Hopefully there are more people like me that buy one and move on but then come back. I went from a 1997 Acura CL 2.2 in 1997 to a 1999 CSVT in 2000, to a 2003 Audi A4 in 2003, then bought a 2000 CSVT in 2006 (9,000 miles, sold in 2007) along with buying the Bondurant car, then bought an 07' FJ Cruiser in 2006, bought the Saleen in 2007, then onto two 1998 CSVTs in 2008. I just sold the FJ Cruiser 3 weeks ago. Now I'm selling one of the 1998s and the other will be my daliy driver. I've driven and owned alot of cars, I even left some out, and CSVTs happen to be my favorite. I hope all of that made sense. :)

I'll stay even when I find another escort project, even if I get rid of my tour.

I agree, if i ever dump the beast I'd still hang around as a troll. i like this place

best car forums i've found so far are here and NASIOC.

Alright. I didn't want\mean to turn this into a bash FCO thread, let's get back on topic.

Don't worry Kim, I'm just as scared as you are. I'll be honest in saying that it has run through my head every night as I try to sleep for the past few months.

you lie in bed thinking about ceg every night for the last few months?

really?

:help:

you may.... uhhh.... want to see someone about that.

For being the current owner of 4 Contours, I can't remember the last time I actually went below the "blue line"...ie the Classifieds. I guess I've just been around long enough, to know more than I ever wanted to know, and now just stick around for the company of 60 or so idiots I now call "friends"

I have to say in the 5 months that I've been registered here (and the several years prior I lurked) I have felt and witnessed a sense of "community" that I never have with the VW folks. For that, you guys should be proud. And for that, I can't see why this forum would ever dry up.

Hell, I didn't even own a Ford until November. Looking around at your signatures, most of you guys don't either, much less Contours.

Further, I'm considering doing the Dragon run in October with you guys (bringing the GTI of course). Sure, I could probably find a group of Dubbers to go with, but going off of previous gatherings, the maturity levels of some of them might be an issue.

I've learned a ton about my old car, and hope to see it make it to the 200k mark.
