    Default Oil Pressure Gauge, again

Finally getting around to mounting my oil pressure sensor for my gauge. I have the A/C compressor off and to the side and can see all of the ports. Trying to figure out what to do.

Well I found this THREAD but there was no conclusion in it really. So I have these two questions:

One is the port on top of the alternator a valid spot in the back (didn't know it was even there)?

Two is it possible to route tee's and/or lines to get the electrical sensor to pick up off of the hex port below the stock oil pressure sender and still have a valid reading?

Nevermind I already conquered the hex bolt under the oil pressure sender and it bowed to my badassness. I'll post pictures tomorrow and possibly write up a how-to as I've seen this question before.

Yea I know. I was just looking to see how someone routed their piping and where they put the sensor.

I just routed mine straight up and I have the sensor sitting infront of the IIRC. I'm going to paint it black so it doesn't stick out so much. However I put it there for easy access for wiring.

    Question

i have a? there is a big plug on the backside of the motor closest to the firewall and mine looks like it has some oil around it... is it possible to put an oil pressure sender here b/c it would be 100 times easier than putting it behind the A/C compressor... i was j/w if this is an oil plug or not....thnx

The big 3/4" pipe plugs go to the water jacket.

on the plug that is about 7 o'clock from the sender is that right behind the ac compressor? i will be going with a Ford racing unit and am just wondering if it is even possible to run something right there,, like once the comressor goes back on will it pinch the line,, just how much room is there. i am looking at my 3liter block on the bench but havn't looked on the car,,i know i did a live gauge reading and it really sucked just getting to the sender to hook up to it.
