Thread: Urgent Wheel Fitment Question

    Default Urgent Wheel Fitment Question

I recently bought a set of rims and tires that I've just mounted on my car. The lug pattern is the proper 4x108, but the hole in the middle of the rim for the hub is much, much bigger than the hub itself. My old wheels would sit on the hub and were a perfect fit, but on these the hole is about an inch wider than the hub.

Is it safe to drive on these? Do i need some kind of adapter ring or something?

Hoping someone can give me a quick answer..

you will need the appropriate hubcentric adapter rings for your wheels.

You would probably be ok for a short trip, but you will be putting undue stress on your wheel studs and if you run for too long, you may start breaking them.
