Wing Removal

I am trying to pull the rear wing off to switch it with one with better paint. I have drilled out the rivets and removed the nuts. What I was not aware of was an addition plug of some sort that holds the wing in place. What is the process of removing those plugs / clips. I do not want to break anything or damage the paint on the trunk lid. I have searched but did not find anything talking about these plugs.

Nobody here has had to remove the rear wing?

In the future if anyone is looking for how to remove the wing, there are two plastic holders on the to the inside of each nut. It takes a good amount of effort, but they will pull out. I don't know of any tool that would assist in removing these that would not also damage the trunk lid or the wing.

I took mine off before and it was held on with 3 screws...no clips or rivets to be seen. Its back on, but relocated to line up with the rear of the trunk. Looks a little more "aggressive" with the slight overhang off of the rear of the trunk.
