Superbowl Squares

Hey everyone, so i'm thinking about getting rid of the SVT and thought it might be fun to do Superbowl squares.

It would go like this:

$100 a square, buy as many as you like.
After i have enough interest, people will paypal me the money before game on Sunday. If i don't get it your not in, however i need at least 80-90 squares taken becuase i can't afford to take a hit on 20 or so squares.
Winner gets my 98 SVT Contour. And i can make it interesting by giving an extra $500 bucks if you win another quarter in addition to the final score.

I won't lie, it does need a litlle work to make perfect. Currently has 114,xxx miles. Normal wear and tear. Needs windshield, drivers side skirt, brake job, some interior electrical work, registration is out of date, some other little stuff.


So what you think?? If i get enough interest, we'll go ahead and do it, but obviously we're on a deadline.
$100 bucks could net you a car: you can sell it, part it, fix it. I don't care, but i have title in hand. Winner would be responsible for pickup.

I'm not doing anything illegal, however, it can be deleted as I have no interest in doing this anymore.

On another note, i know my car is not worth 8-9k, that's wasn't the point, If you won a car for $ 100 you wouldn't be complaiing.
This idea has been used before as someone i know used it to get rid of their boat last year.

The way it is though, is 1 of the 80 or 90 people will be happy. And of course you will be as well because you'll easily be getting twice what your car is worth. Heck even more than that if its not in good condition, which you said it isn't.

So basically, your making out with an @$$load of money and one other person is making out. It's a good idea in theory, but it simply makes no sense to people wanting to enter the pool.

yea, but if you compare cost vs benefit...

$100 to win a car maybe worth $4,000

vs.

$1 to win $250,000,000

Doesn't seem quite the same risk now does it?
