Thread: SVTs

  1. Default SVTs

I've been looking into getting a SVT Contour but have a couple of questions. First question is to see if I even can fit in one; Do sunroof's come standard on SVTs? Every picture I've seen of one has a sunroof. Second, why does the center console look like it is turned towards the drivers side?

Sunroofs were one of (I think) only two options. I think the other was CD player. MOST, but not all, SVTs have the moon roof.
If home is where the heart is, then I'm out of place.

Moonroofs dont take up too much headroom do they, I know sunroofs take off a couple inches which makes most cars too short for me .

How tall are you? I'm 6'4" and don't have any trouble at all fitting.

the center console IS slightly turned towards the driver. it's just the design of the car. kind of nice, imo

I think that console may not be mounted correctly. Mine definitely does not slant at all.

I am between 6'7" and 6'8". I can barely fit in my friends contour which has a sunroof.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I just took a closer look...it does kind of look slanted? Poorly mounted console...Or perhaps it is just the picture.

Hmm... In that case, you need to ride with the moonroof open...

Mine either. Maybe the console is a bit crooked.
