Pre98 Console

Currently showing 13 NEW tan consoles. (and 5 blue, 13 grey, 3 red) Granted, you will still need all the accessories, but its brand new for $41.85 shipped.

For what its worth, this is one of the mods that I installed in my 98 SE/SVT way back when, and later removed. I didn't like that the colors were a few shades off, the texture of the plastic "grains" were different. The ashtray and trim were more of a charcoal compared to 98+ black trim. At a salvage I think I was into mine for $75, and unfortunately it ended up getting pitched. My suggestion is to see, in person, a pre 98 console in a 98+ Contour before you proceed.

there where two types a finish on the plastic trim in the pre98's. one was a charcole gray and one was black. the pure black came in in 97, iirc.

I agree. I'm interested to see which this is... The grey painted ones have a distinct grey tone to them. I don't see it on that one in the auction pictures.
