How to: Wheel stud remove/replace

Thank you. You made it look very easy in this is how-to. :)

Need to click on picture for the movie to start.;)

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that you should use a washer in between the new stud and the lug nut.

What happens is when the knurls on the stud begin to set, the lug nut will begin to eat into the softer metal of the rotor. By sacrificing a thick washer, you save the rotor.

I wouldn't use your stock lugnuts in doing this. When I started working on my car, the lugnuts started failing and stripping just putting them on and taking them off. I'd go to the auto store are get some new steel ones and use those. This really is a piece of cake operation.

Wahts da madda? You no likey my "no pictures or moving pictures" how-tos ? :D
In all seriousness, this how-to really makes things easy for us.

Haha Tony. For the most part yours and everyone elses write-ups are great, but seeing it actually done is really good for people like me with limited experience doing things on their car other than an oil change or rotating tires! (not that I haven't done more mind you!)
