Default Good mechanic for used car once-over in MD

I'm sending a friend up to Rockville this weekend to look at a car for her daughter. She has absolutely no idea what to look for. I've gotten as much info as I can from the seller, but it's been my experience that the car you end up seeing in person is never really the car that has been described.

The car is a 1992 Accord EX, and I was wondering if any of you guys knew of a good place for her to have this checked out while she's up there. I know the ABS and check engine lights are on, so if those could be diagnosed that would be great, and I'd like to send her to someone that's honest and will give her simple, easy answers to any questions.

    All replies are appreciated,

    Matt

ABS light on might be expensive. Check Engine Light code(s) can be determined at Advance or Autozone and then with the codes figure out what the problem is. Don't know any good mechanics in the Rockville area but I have used and have recommended the Exxon/Midas at the corner of Washington Blvd and Lee Hightway in Arlington/East Falls Church.

    CEL codes.
