Have you tried the Speed3? I am interested in how it compares. It lacks AWD, but weighs considerably less with the same power (and costs considerably less too).

I almost bought one. Toward the end of last December, dealerships were discounting them like crazy to sell of the remaining 06s. One dealership in GA offered 30% off MSRP. I almost bought a one way ticket to Atlanta and drive one back, but the value Carmax gave me for my Saab 92X Aero was way too low (only 5100 original miles) so I gave up that idea.

Yeah, he kept dropping the price. He eventually got to about $8k below sticker by the time I was leaving. The wife's Firebird almost went bye bye, heh heh.
