Well i just got my little brothers car back from the body shop from getting the frame straightened. The car is still a little rough but in a lot better shape than his old one. NO RUST on this one....Has some metallic white painted interior that is being changed because it is so ugly looking. The car has only 100k on it and a clean title. Now it has a 3L Hybrid with an 08 block that i built about 8k miles ago and a Torsen LSD with about aprox 3K on it, Eibach lowering springs and the Candy Green Paint. Well here are pics as we go. I will keep you guys updated with what is going on.

Man, that car has been through the ringers! I can't believe you guys keep saving it - good to see, keep up the work! :D
 
Yeah well the only reason we are trying is because of the price we got it for and that it is in better shape than his old one. The old one was rusted out and the subframe was going to fall out. But she will be at spring zing this yr

Well see billy, I bought you the roman burger because you are helping me work on that car soo.... if Malcolm and Smalls want a roman burger like you got for free then they are going to have to put in some wrench time on the car :p
 
we will share it lady and the tramp style (ill be the lady, smalls can be the tramp)

LMAO well dont forget the cheese sauce..... Andy i have most of the wrench time in both of your cars... lol
 
She was sitting in a garage for 6 or 7 years before i got her in November of last year. I think, at most, she has only seen maybe 3 or 4 winters. I never drove her in the snow and kept her in the garage. Thus she is virtually rust free. Search Antec's 3l build if you want to see pictures of when i bought it.

That stupid glitter ghetto fabulous interior pieces and parts was like that when i bought it. lol I never got a chance to replace it.

-Be sure to replace those struts, they are junk and replace the rear sway bar ends.

-I'm happy to she her coming back together. Let me know if you need a helping hand.

-The trunk still looks like the body lines are off although it could be the lighting :shrug:

haha! we should make a mandatory stop during a cruise so everyone can enjoy a romanburger with waffle fries :drool: mr. hero is so greasy and unhealthy, but its SOOO good!

Yeah well the trunk is still off... it will be fixed shortly and the whole car needs stripped. The paint in cracking near the door handles and on the trunk lid. We have had another set back i was trying to line up the trans mounts and that didn't work. So whatever was hit bent the subframe. so i had to pull the engine back out and drop the subframe out. But thats out and now i have to pull the one out of our donor SVT.
 
She hit the cement barriers that divide the highways. As far as the paint goes I would junk those fenders and side skirts. Take every door apart and use a DA to take them down to bare metal and start over. The rest of the car i would sand down really good then prime everything. That rear bumper use panel bond to fix

i know it would but i will just do it like i did mine. when it goes in for paint mask the engine off and have them spray it. I will have someone fix the bumper or use the one off the silver car. But that depends if brian still wants the SF one. My buddy is going to prep the car unless i get some free labor lol. I build engines i dont paint the cars lol You must mean the front bumper cause that one was the one with the damage.... All and All it will be on the road again
 
I will help prep the car for free. And the front can be repaired no problem (i can do that) and i was talking about the rear; the road rash is to deep for standard body filler.
