I had the transmission recently rebuilt on my 4 cylinder 2000 Mystique and it now shifts very mushy. I have had it back to the garage twice and both times been told that is normal for this transmission. It is very slow to upshift and when it does it sort of slides into gear and takes 3-5 seconds to fully engage. It never used to do that even when it turned 100,000 miles. Is there an adjustment that can be made to fix this or is something I am going to have to live with until it fails-again?
