Thread: Just me or 4x108 SUCK!?!?

  1. Default Just me or 4x108 SUCK!?!?

I really am having a hard time finding wheels I like, I guess i'm just picky. i've visited all the good sites, and have found some sick wheels, but I am starting to "HATE" the CSVT's 4x108 bolt pattern. Why the hell would Ford put out such an off Pattern?

It is tougher to find wheels compared to some other cars, but not all that bad.

Depending on where you are searching, if you are looking at wheels based on car model, try using Cougar or Focus as your search. Contour doesn't exactly turn up much.

Plenty of companies that will custom drill wheels for about $25 a wheel.

Actually a Mustang Freak friend of mine said I should try looking up some wheels from older stangs to put on my car, but I'm not really into cross breading parts...

And the fact that they sit an inch outside the fender! Don't forget to get the correct offset or you'll be eating wheel bearings.

You think 4x108 is hard to find, try locating anything in a 4x98, any diameter! Now THAT is a challenge!
If home is where the heart is, then I'm out of place.

Yea 4x108 definately sucks. I searched for 2 months to find the right rims I wanted for my cars. I ended up having to buy KEI racing wheels and have them shipped from the UK. Only maker I could find who made the style of wheels I wanted in that lug pattern for a reasonable price. Should be getting them in this week. Hope theyre as badass as I thought they were. I got them from Edworthys.co.uk for very reasonable.

How much was the shipping? I looked up Kei a while ago but figured it was way too much to get them from the UK. Kei has some pretty sweet wheels, and they used to have some 19" in our bolt pattern too
