vct solenoid codes P1380 & P1381 BUT.....

Did a lot of researching and it looks like I need to do an oil change first before spending big bucks, but before I do that I need to make sure the VCT-Sol is hooked up correctly, it looks like the PO (previous owner) had someone work on the car and cut up the wiring harnesses where it plugs into the VCT-Sol at the head (see pics). I'm wondering if someone can take a picture of the correct wire orientation and post it to this thread.

wire colors should just have to be matched if they where only cut.

I've got a spare ZX2 wire harness I can cut this pigtail from if you want it. Just pay for a flat-rate box and I'll send it to you.

i have the same problem with you, without plug in the harness, everything is fine. when it is plug in, the car went die when in idle.
i send to machanic, he said might be the sensor or computer problem, after changing the sensor, still the same, he told me if it doesn't affect anything, leave it there will not be a problem= =
anyone got idea what the consequences without plug in the harness??
