can not close my door! HELP!

Hey! I have not been on in a long time... NICE new layout! I have to get used to it but I LIke IT! Well, I can not close my driver side door... THe latch on the door on the pass. side when you push it up it locks.. On the driver side when you push it up it just falls back down! What do you guys think??

Yes, and also check if the spring for the latch is broken. Anyway you slice it, you have to open it up to see.

it just stopped working out of nowhere? my door doesnt close fully when it freezing out and after the car warms up then i can close it fully. does yours latch at all?

I think Daves95contour's issue is the latch ("C-clip" on the latch). Yours is probably due to a worned out or bent hinge.

my door closes fine in good weather. just in really really really cold weather, it'll latch but wont close fully so i have to let the car warm up or sorta hold the door closed to keep the cold out til the inside is warm then the door will fully close.

...then it sounds like the spring for the latch too. Maybe spray some WD 40 and grease it up.
